This is not a good trend because politics is also correlated with depression, anger, and stress.
This could be why suicide rates are skyrocketing and usage of anti-depressants is so ubiquitous.
The happiest people I know are the ones who never watch news or care about Washington

The goal of politics and news media is to divide and demoralize us all. And I agree with you OP the happiest people in our country are the people that avoid politics and news media all together.

DO NOT AGREE, there are times when the existence of our Country with its Constitution and The Republic is and has been under attack from within and without.

Politics are like sports to me. I really don’t care who wins but it’s fun to root for the home team. People who say politics are an important part of their daily lives should be killing them selves imo.

I can’t speak for you, but I pretty much post on this board for the entertainment value. There’s a real world out there and what goes on here has very little to do with everyday life.

Agreed but it's become much more difficult to ignore when the SJW cult has made it their business to inject their politics in your face in EVERYTHING.
Movies, tv, music, sports, video games, you can't just escape anymore without getting a left wing propaganda sermon shoved down your throat.
We're currently doing this thing where the entire month of June you get homosexuality shoved in your face constantly.
