This is a tired, uninformed talking point

He gave Trump a better chance than most

Polls are not black and white. If you don’t know what you’re looking at, then they probably do seem useless. But there’s a reason he’s the best election forecaster of our time.

The main thing I see with trump is that he is inarticulate in explaining Kamala’s past record.

He tries but I think he misses the mark most times.

I think he should shut up for the time being and use Kemp the way he does Lindsey. For all of the bluster about Trump being anti-establishment, he sure sucks up to one of the worst GOPe neocon scumbags of them all. Why not do it here in order to the get the W?

Well, exactly, and I think you hit on the key question with a good example regarding Lindsey.

So why doesn’t he?

I think because of two possibilities:

First, Lindsey is crafty. He’s slick. He knows how to talk to Trump. Kemp is not slick or crafty. He’s more of a good ole boy a la W.

Second, Lindsey has gone to bat for Trump and defended him. That personal blood in the game that Lindsey has been willing to shed, that willingness to get in and fight, probably earned him a good bit of respect from Trump. Kemp has never defended Trump and ducked for cover when the shite came flying. Trump doesn’t respect Kemp. He views him as a coward.

So I think there’s more here than just getting along with the GOPe. There are specific actions (and lack of action) that separate Lindsey from Kemp in Trump’s mind.

So who should have been picked….

I’m 100% voting Trump and I believe he can still win, but I also believe Ron would have been able to win it as well.

The argument about him not even being able to win the nomination doesn’t hold water. Just like I did as a Ronbot, once Trump won the nomination I put my support behind him. The same would have happened for Ron without the heartburn of constantly having to defend our nominee.

My brother in Christ, he didn’t win it, so it does. What the hell are you even talking about? And I like Ron.

Unfortunately Trump will not listen to any advisors about restraint of tongue in certain areas. He believes he is the most brilliant person in the world He should be running away with this election, but he has the uncanny ability to allow his personality to disgust people so badly, that they rather sink the country than vote for him. Dont get me wrong, there is a high percentage of democrats that would vote for a democratic Pee Wee Herman, or Kamala, rather than Jesus himself, but he can’t continue to alienate people. The reality is he is not at all a good speaker, especially when he gets away from policies. I can’t even fathom what would happen to this country if Kamala wins, but just imagine The View running the country, minus 80 IQ points.
