Newsflash. People log in at different times AND, no matter what focus YOU may have in a thread, they may see something of interest they want to address that isn't YOUR focus.

My initial post was about the silliness of the phrase "I have faith in Science" as if Science is ONE thing agreed upon by all that do it. Basically, I was saying that especially with something new, you're going to get diverging opinions. I believe my next post basically said it's a problem to try and close out minority opinions of people who ARE qualified to speak on them. It does us all a disservice.

These both seem like perfectly reasonable things to want to talk about in this thread.

All you did was link drop. Which, by the way, on message boards is a "tell".

When people just link drop data driven links with no input themselves, it's a very quick tell that those people don't REALLY understand the data beyond it appearing to agree with them.
