How is this like actual socialism? Does the government own the means of production? Do they control the economic exchange? Did the farmers have their land confiscated by the government? Do you even know what mother fricking socialism is?

Farming has been socialized for decades.
Would it be better to have a bunch of farmers go broke like they did in the 80’s and 90’s and let huge multinationals (Chinese and European) buy them up?

So taking total control of 1/3 of the economy. Setting all rules in that area by government dictate is the same as some more welfare for farmers during a temporary trade war
