From Simpson's testimony. He was asked about Russia infiltrating the NRA.

Simpson says Putin is not in favor of Russians having guns, so the fact he is sending people over here to join the NRA is a charade (and they are all actors). However, a simple Google search pulled up an article from 2012 where Ms. Butina is giving interviews about her efforts to get gun rights in Russia. This was 2012. Did Putin plan this all in advance in 2012, Mr. Simpson? Did he have people arguing in Russian parliament in 2012 as a charade to fool everyone in 2016?
