The London- and New York-based Macro typically doesn't disclose its clients, and describes itself as "a firm that delivers actionable macro strategies to decision-makers in business, finance and the not-for-profit sector".

High-ranking members of the Biden administration, who worked for the firm Macro Advisory Partners, include at least 10 Obama-era officials.
Incoming NSA Jake Sullivan (Oxford alumnus), CIA Director nominee William Burns (Oxford alumnus) and Veterans Affairs Secretary nominee Denis McDonough recently worked for Macro.
