I bet everybody here would be happy to send their kids to the same schools where Will Smith sends his kids, assuming they could afford to do so.
It isn't about race; it's about wanting your children to receive a quality education.
And regarding the advice about her kids checking for racism in their friends and the families of their friends, I hope those people do likewise. The truth is, Barack and Michelle Obama could've done wonders to achieve racial reconciliation in this country, but their respective mindsets are warped. They are race-baiters, not the least bit interested in achieving racial reconciliation.
Just think what could've been accomplished if Obama was a man of character like Dr. Ben Carson. Unfortunately, he, his wife, Holder and others are at the other end of the moral spectrum.
It isn't about race; it's about wanting your children to receive a quality education.

You're missing the point. You won't judge her ( as you were taught) b/c you don't know what it's like to be black. She however is allowed to make implications without knowing what it's like to be white.

They constantly have opportunities to transcend the racial pettiness that presents itself in the media. But they perform the same ritual as has been ingrained in them. They lash out and tell everyone that they need to know who these people are so they can be properly punished for having certain opinions rather than just dismissing such frivolous issues.

I agree with you that Obama was the greatest hope in improving race relations in this country and he's largely squandered that opportunity. I don't think it is an indictment on his moral character as much as it is his general political philosophy, though.
