but if you don't like it you can use literally millions of alternatives! But if you want to participate in the social space without censorship, create your own platform! that's what we need to tell tradcons

gahh, I used to be the kind of guy who actually believed that, and would actively defend corporations and private entities to the grave.

But that was in a time when society was still relatively... "normal", and hadn't gone off the rails into clown world.

that was in a time when the technocracy hadn't blasted off to the moon and scooped up all of the societal real estate and started working in concert with themselves to make certain they never have to give up that control again.

that was in a time when there actually were options and places you could go, that weren't miserable failures, or just outright bought up and destroyed by the hand full of giants that exist.

We're not quite there yet... but... imagine a near future, to where basically everything is privatized. And that argument of "but muh private company!" continues to protect them.

And in that future, you can't use your bank card, purchase groceries, connect utilities, use a cell phone, get a loan, buy a house, RENT a house, get a job, open a retirement account, buy a bus ticket, buy a plane ticket, attend a concert, attend a university, go to the hospital, see a doctor, or literally anything else...... unless you comply with the CORRECT ideology.

Imagine that, because it's definitely coming. China has a loose system in place already, referred to as a social credit score.

It's seeming like our destiny is headed towards private entities taking over literally everything, and becoming the "Defacto government"... because sure you have constitutional rights... but only in spaces that aren't in some way connected to this private entity.

Which basically means, only in your head. You can only have thoughts so long as you don't express them.

There are reasons that led to white flight. Dare I say she is white washing those reasons and boiling this down to race and only race. Typical, divisive and racial in its own way.
