I was actually very pleased with Lyft. That was my first time riding. I felt like they arrived quicker than Uber

Lyft pledged $1 million to the ACLU after Trump's Muslim ban. They are good people

They used that money to defend Nazi's right to protest in Charlottesville

Oh well, everytime one of these companies thinks it's their duty to get involved in politics then I will kindly remind them that we all have the freedom to seek other services

They very easily get big heads and think that their actions don't have consequences. If more people did the same they would get the message

It was the right decision. The ACLU are also good people.

The person appointed to join the Lyft Board of Directors is Valerie Jarrett, who was part of former President Obama’s team as well.

I really don't care who works for them. I don't care how many SJWs work for Uber.

And it wasn't that they sent me an email after charlotesville. I despise white supremacists too.

It spoke volumes that I had never gotten an email from them before....
Not after terrorist attacks
Not after violent protests
Not after black radicals killing cops

Only after this. Why?

If only there was an example of a person who was getting involved in politics for years, and this was not only seemingly OK, he eventually became president.

O yeah. People want businesses and celebrities to stay out of politics when they have a view different from their own, then gleefully cheer them on when they share their view.

So enough with this grandstanding about staying out of politics. Just admit it's about your own "feelings" like the SJWers.

You know why you don't know any good conservatives who start or run new hot businesses?

Cause if you mix that political shite with business You are about to drive down your business.

What is your point?

Of course I'm going to be upset if a company makes a public statement I don't agree with. Telling Uber to stay out of politics is just good business advice. You automatically alienate a certain amount of people with gestures like that.

Just do your job. Or don't and lose alot of customers. I'm not losing sleep over it, I had a good ride in a Lyft
