All this has done is reinforce the public's perception that the system is completely rigged and their vote no longer matters. The GOPe will get their asses handed to them in the next election because people aren't going to vote regardless of the candidate. The only person who could fix this would be Trump but they will castrate him again so he isn't covered on any media outlet.

I think they realize this back in 2020, reinforced by the bogus, equally rigged Mid-Terms results (to be honest).
