I didn't vote for trump for any one policy reason. for better or worse he has interviews going back to 1979 of him advocating for the same major policies as it concerns "protection racket" foreign policy and free trade agreements and import tariffs on japan and china. nothing too in depth, but specific enough to establish a policy position and a general philosophy driving those positions

his positions have waffled on "the Iraq war" (and that's being really generous to the left) and shite I flat out don't care about such as abortion. and compared to people like McCain who has a voting record that contradicts his campaign platform and years of interviews that contradict the other...he has nooooooo room to speak.

Trump uses the same logic and reasoning in his opposition to them as quite a bit of middle class and poor liberals do.

Oh and Trump gave a speech opposing NAFTA before it was passed, in October 1993, in front of ex-Presidents and businessmen. He was the only one to speak out against it at the conference.

Complete BS
He has benefitted from those deals and admits he has.
All at the same time saying they are terrible deals for the country.

I believe John McCain did the wet start aboard the USS Forrestal that killed roughly 170 of the crew.

I have nothing nice to say about John McCain.

Yep.

There's a reason the "Maverick" label really shouldn't be considered a good thing as it means you either have no principles or the only principles you have is fricking over people for your own benefit. "Maverick" is just cynical PR on his part that somehow worked.

That’s who John McCain is.
he's always been vindictive. his whole persona post 2008 election has been largely driven IMO by resentment of the voters who resoundingly rejected him despite all the compromises he made. he went with the big government bailout. he suspended his campaign, he publicly humiliated a voter so the media wouldn't call him a racist instead of just shrugging it off like trump did with what looked like a plant. he completely reversed course on most of his primary platform and they still didn't care

he lost the electoral college 365-173 and lost the popular vote by 10 million votes

America voted and they hate john McCain and most of his GOP voters were simply holding their nose. no shame in losing to the political hurricane that was Obama, but losing that badly...ouch

Not so.

It was either his plane that was hit or the plane next to his.
Either way he was not involved as a person who caused that frick up

Imagine watching Trump doing the opposite of all that and saying frick that noise and winning the Presidency after bitch slapping the GOPe, the Clinton Machine and the media.

Sure the war heroes captured comments didn't help but I imagine McCain was driven crazy with jealous rage watching Trump doing all of that.

McCain was basically selling himself as a third term of Bush 43 on steroids while he was at 22-25% approval ratings in his last year in office.

No wonder why he got the ever living dogshit beat out of him.

it's so obvious and transparent...and predictable. of course it's totally disingenuous and politically motivated...but far be it for me to interfere with democrats throwing the Clintons to the wolves

it's got to piss off both he and Romney.

especially since he didn't have the apparatus and he had them bad mouthing and undermining him at every turn. McCain and Romney had the democrats and their media to contend with (no small thing) but trump had that plus the entire GOP with a small staff, no ground game...nothing but him riffing at rallies. I'm not going to lie, that would do a number on me too

It was beyond poetic justice that something like Franken and Conyers would almost immediately pop up to put that "epiphany" to the test and lo and behold, they gleefully threw it in the dumpster fire to protect power and discourage more accusers coming forwards other democrats who are not yet named.

It was a cowards move.

they don't want to play by the same rules, but at least democrats are trying to implement their bad idea policies. wish republicans made a good faith effort to get the policies they campaigned on implemented either by new legislation or repealing existing legislation...but nope. they're scum too

and i'm going to tell you until you see the light ...rand paul is no different.

Didn't stop Mitt from being willing to debase himself in this moment for a chance at the State job.

It's like you work hard to be a good husband and provide a living but you just don't have it where she really wants it and you're doing everything you can to fix that like reading sex help books and penis stretching stuff and then along comes Jody who fricks her better than you ever could and she can't get enough of that dick now.

really makes me question his intelligence. obviously he was being set up for public humiliation to show the whole world how full of shite he is...and there he is, groveling before trump.

They only thing they did to give the appearance of that was to send it off to the ethics committee.

For anyone who's not a dumbass, that's the place where bullshite like this goes to die and gets buried and eventually comes to a conclusion in a boring holiday evening Friday news dump.

Oh trust me.

I'm onto him as theres' been more than a few times where he was completely willing to let good be the enemy of perfect like the GrahamCassidy bill that he voted against but still provide enough cover to keep away accusations of being just like his father by voting for good bills that he knows will never pass like the Skinny Repeal and this tax bill where other republicans will defeat it for him.

It's like he's a purist playing cynical politics sometimes.
