I assume the target of Joe's tweet had to be one of those, or maybe it was just directed at white people in general.
Can anyone seriously say that the black community has been unheard for any length of time? It's just patently false. How many billions, if not trillions has been spent, trying to address the stated needs of the black community? Saying things like this, at a time when all hell is breaking loose is irresponsible at best, and purposefully adding fuel to the flame at worst. Fuel that could cost people their lives, and livelihoods.

I wouldn't recognize a level playing field if you showed me one. I know that I lived about one block away from the only black people in my little home town, and not a single one of those families were any poorer than mine. I know that all 8 of the black kids I went to school with, hung out with, played ball with, practically lived with, went to college after high school.
I got a job at a lumber company, because nobody was concerned about getting me an education. I sent a letter with my transcripts to the United Caucasian College Fund, to see if I could get some money to go to college, but they never responded.
The playing field is level for damn few folks, and the color of their skin has damn little to do with it. It's funny to me how that playing field gets level as hell for the folks who work their asses off, stay out of trouble, and wait until they are married to have kids. And it doesn't matter if that hard work is flipping burgers, pouring concrete, working construction, throwing a football, or shooting a basketball.
