The 1st has limits. I know you know that, we all do. And yes, there are some things that you can say that will get you punished by the government, this is nothing new either.
Is the point you're making that we don't have "free speech" in this country due to the fact that there are some limits?

In at least one of the trials, it was defamation and IIED. I may have the individual cases mixed up, but one of the families was being harassed by Jones' followers for several years about being crisis actors or some such nonsense that Jones peddled despite Jones knowing that it was not true.
Knowingly lying to your internet following and whipping them into a frenzy directed at individual people based on said lie is inadvisable.
