Everything in that article is true, but it predates these two events.
These two events even hurt them more, especially the January 6th stuff, but let's be honest.
Going back to Obama, people started losing faith in them. He is the guy who started the change to them being extremely political.
But the fbi has been arrogant as frick long before then. There has always been an uneasy relationship. It has just worsened since Obama started making it a political organization rather than a law enforcement one. And then the recent administration made it worse.
