The establishment GOP is circling the wagons. Rand is stirring up some worry.

Hopefully he keeps beating this drum and doesn't back down but I think he's going to start back-pedaling pretty fast since the repub base is still made of a bunch of neocons that think bush/cheney could do no wrong. He doesn't have a shot in hell of winning the nom if he can't win this wing over.

Right now, it's just the GOP who is pissed at him, while the Democrats are sitting back with their popcorn watching everything unfold. Isn't it ironic that Paul can get standing ovations at Berkley while being despised by the GOP establishment, and yet he's the Republican frontrunner for 2016?

Yea, I don't see the pissing off the dems angle.

If anything I bet he'd have a better chance winning the nom if he ran as a dem

I wouldn't go that far due to his stance on abortion.

Probably not since its a woman's turn to be president. That's about all the dems can put forth when it comes to the disaster that is Hillary.

Just wait....very soon the Dems will begin to chime in with:

"Jeb is the moderate you need to win"

Based on his recent comments, Jeb is a hardcore neocon who Democrats have no use for.

yes they have a use for him...a pathetic opponent that Hillary can dismantle.

Rand is a much more dangerous opponent.

How are the democrats any different than neocons at this point?

That question makes no sense. Implying that all Democrats are neocons is just as ridiculous as implying that all Republicans are neocons. There were people in Congress from both sides of the aisle who voted against the Iraq war.

You implied all dems had no use for Jeb, a neocon....so let's be clear, the Democratic Party hasn't acted discernibly different than the Republican Party (since 2000) who's foreign policy was greatly influenced by neocons...the only thing that has stopped the current Dem admin from intervening more is the near total rejection by the American people.
