That is a textbook example of foreign interference in an election.

I can't wait until we get someone in the White House that would get his AG to look into all these crimes, and bring the law-breakers to justice.

How is that illegal?

You're asking why it's illegal to use illegally-obtained personal emails in order to illegally swing a federal election?

OOOOOKAY.

Only in the cesspool that is your brain can the dissemination of truthful emails about a candidate to the public at large be considered illegal.

It is your word versus your statements you made to the FBI who wrote down your words in their notes. It is almost impossible to make a mistake when someone is writing notes, right? LOL

Wouldn't that just be required to prove receiving stolen goods, and not simply being in possession of them?

Nope. Receiving stolen property requires KNOWINGLY receiving stolen property. Hence why I asked about mens rea. Possessing stolen goods requires knowledge and intent to permanently deprive the rightful owner of possession. Innocently possessing stolen goods is not a crime.

Yes, quite, thank you.

Oh we we all know you are comfortable opining from a place of ignorance. That’s pretty much your modus operandi.

It's not illegal.

However, purposely hindering an investigation, lying to investigators, and intimidating witness are illegal. Hence why he has been charged.

It’s not that honest a transaction. FBI has taped conversations and 20,000 emails. They ask questions and already know the answers. They to this for DAYS. Then they realize you said Tom and John were in meeting- but they know Bill was there too. Guess what? You just got phucked. It’s disgusting

Wouldn't any reasonable person in possession of wikileaks documents think these documents were obtained unlawfully?

That's pretty common on this board, I'm in good company.

At least I qualified it with:

quote:

I think...

quote:

you may...

and...
quote:

But you may want to consult an attorney.

I'm sorry if you feel threatened by my conjecture, but I don't think a reasonable person would interpret my post as trying to provide professional legal advice in any way.

DISCLAIMER: WildTchoupitoulas is a scientist, and not a legal professional. Please take any and all of his opinions with a grain of salt to make them more palatable.

Thank you.

Guilt by association isn’t a game you want to play. If that’s the best you have, you have nothing.
