It's not strange at all.
The vast majority of muggings/robberies happen with few or no witnesses because criminals tend to wait until people are out of earshot before they strike their targets.
These two women were on the top level of a double-decker bus late at night. Could be the only other people up there with them were the "hooligans" in question. Apparently, the police have CCTV footage of the incident and are continuing to make arrests as of yesterday. If this were fake I doubt anyone would be getting arrested. But maybe I'm just that gullible?
Either way...the refusal of the police (and the couple) to identify who their attackers were tells me that the majority of them were middle eastern in origin.

Are arrest records public in London? Surely someone can access those records and get the names of the five accused attackers. I’m obviously not sure what the law is there. Maybe because of their age names are withheld.

Ah. So they would have to admit in this instance a Muslim called out their own. (It it was Muslims that attacked). I would imagine the fact the description is absent from all media reports would provide enough fodder for “the board”. If it was white right wingers....then “the board” would have to eat some crow.

Even if it is "right wingers" I wouldn't expect that behavior from the whole of the right. I wouldn't look to make any side own it. If this event occurred it can be owned by the shits that did it--not a side.

Yes. The board has pointed out the media is silent on the description and have alleged it means it isn’t white right-wingers. If this turns out to be false, it proves the allegation of a biased media (in this case) is false. If it turns out to be correct, it supports the allegation of a biased media (in this case). I think the mayors comments are a secondary, at best, consideration of “the board”.
I haven’t double checked, but I don’t remember anyone in this thread bringing up the issue of Muslims calling out their own. I could be wrong. But it would be the first time ever.

I'm not basing my comments on any particular post in this thread. Nor did I make a blanket comment about "this board." I specified there are some resident posters who will have difficulty wrapping their heads around a condemnation of a Muslim attack by a Muslim. Surely, you're not going to deny that there are some posters on this board that have historically made comments that make that a fair observation.
If you want to defend the posts in this thread, have at it. Im not really opining on the posts questioning the media's agenda and I'm not limiting myself to just the comments in this thread so it doesn't really mean anything to me.
