1,000 years ago when I was in college, all of my liberal lefty friends were positive the Republicans were going to destroy free speech. Hell, I wasn't liberal even back then, but at the time, If I had to think one of the two parties would limit speech, I would have agreed the odds favored it being the Republicans.
Well, they didn't end or limit free speech and here we are today with Liberals proclaiming and labeling any idea they disagree with as hate speech. They try and fail to get around the pesky first amendment by labeling everything hate speech. Anyone with a differing opinion is a racist misogynistic bigot.
It really does boggle my mind the 180 they have taken on speech from when I was in college until now.
I can't even imagine the liberals I went to school with crying over Trump written in chalk on a sidewalk.

The progressives on this board don't think there's a free speech issue on American college campuses, but yet we see incidents like this every week on college campuses in every corner of the country.

The issue progressives see in free speech are those things they do not want to hear. You should not be allowed to say or write what you want, but what is acceptable to them. What is acceptable is evolving daily.
