Leave no man behind...that was driven into me by the Corps. Is that now dead????

I'm fed up with this present administration and their approach to the evacuation plans and procedures that they are executing in Afghanistan. They have no clue as to how many American citizens remain there or where they may be. The make statements that if you want to leave we will evacuate you, just come to the airport. They take no notice what that would take venturing through Taliban checkpoints and angry mobs, only to wait hours on end at the back end of an out of control mob with no help from US troops on the ground. Now they say all may not make it out by the thirtyfirst. What ever has become of "Leave no man behind "?
I'm now having memories return from the fall season of Vietnam back in 1968. My unit was at Dong Ha in Quang Tri province just south of the DMZ. Our primary mission was to run SAD patrols in the Dakrong Valley along the Quang Tri and Dakrong rivers. We were in base when a call came in of an Army medi-vac copter going down in the valley. All activities were scrapped and we were dispatched to locate and extract all aboard. Not only was it my unit, it was dozens others dispatched across the valley to assist and provide cover for our operation. Even the flyboys contributed to supple cover.
Long story short...we found the crash site and extracted five wounded and two fatalities which were the pilots. We didn't care that they weren't Marines. They were brothers and US citizens that would eventually return home.
Where are this administration's balls during this fiasco that continues to roll across our television screens????
All I can say is frick you!!!!

Yeah. I can assure you that is how the rank and file feels. I can't imagine what this is like for them. I'm sure they are actually grief stricken over this.

Soldiers and Marines still feel the same way on the ground. You/We are living through the most pathetic and cowardly loser piece of shite of an administration in our lifetime.
Don't get me wrong, frickstain politicians never understood this mantra, unless they were combat arms prior service, but this particular administration is so inept, so incompetent, so clueless, so cowardly, that ANY fundamental American value that is good is shunned and ignored.
Don't blame the Joes there on the ground. Blame the senile dementia laden depends pissing turnip and the absolute loser filth uneducated fricktards who "voted" for him.
