there is a LOT of waste spending in the military
Yes. Instead of throwing cash at the military, how bout we see where the multiple black holes are. The military contractors have blank checks. I just did a job at the company that makes the electrical and hydraulic connections on the Apache and other craft. According to the owner, they can charge whatever the hell they want and nobody ever asks.
We can cut at least 30% off the military budget by nailing waste alone.

Why doesn't Trump just issue an EO to his agencies that they will spend only 85% of their budget? Congress sets the budget, but it is at the discretion of the Executive branch to use it.
He has already cut them!
Trump signs executive order to cut costs of federal government
Has smaller staffs even.

There would be more funds to work with but for the massive corporate tax cut. As Bush II demonstrated, giant tax cuts and increased spending (wars) is a formula for budgetary disaster.
Are you retarded IRL? Bringing corporate money back onshore is crucial to getting the economy going again. I suspect you actually know this and are just a shill.

This. Our entire purchasing process needs to be revamped. The taxpayers should never pay more than average retail for like products. MILSPEC was well intended but as usual, abused.

we were forced to increase spending on things we do not like or want
Let's not pretend Trump cares all that much about cutting spending. That's not really his thing, no surprise. But the Republicans weren't forced to increase spending. They did it willingly. Rand was the only one that put up a fight over it.
