It’s a fact that the true numbers including ships that are transiting “dark” are not public. The pure numbers of ships might even be up but they’re mostly small shuttle ships that carry oil in small amounts from the Persian gulf to waiting supertankers in the Arabian Sea. The VAST majority of supertankers are not transiting the strait because it’s too dangerous? Why is it too dangerous you ask? Because the United States can’t stop Iran from attacking them.
