I can agree with you regarding the pace of this back and forth - it is over the top.
Look at how many threads about Talarico have been started in the last 24 hrs… This thread is a drop in the bucket, comparatively speaking.
We’ll be subjected to the same ole politics of division repeatedly over the course of this campaign. Which is by design, to keep culture wars front and center.
People are struggling with everyday costs. We should be focusing on who is going to work towards stopping corruption and fixing the issues that are hurting Texans (and Americans at large).
But yeah, all of this will be regurgitated over and over again daily/weekly for months.
It’s up to us to focus on who is actually benefitting from it. It’s the mega millionaires vs everyone else.

If you read the entire story on this case, the evidence wasn't there for a conviction. Which is why it was a mistrial for a hung jury they first time they tried him. The second time around the victim wasn't likely to testify again, making a conviction basically impossible.

Your side believes this sort of stuff is perfectly normal. God forbid any righteous judgement against a Democrat. Why do you now care when a Republican does something so insignificant and meaningless as it relates to your moral code or lack thereof?
