Oh, the show is pure trash and every once in a while when I try to listen I’m immediately reminded why I don’t. But name ID goes a LONG way and he would command a lot more attention than Steve Marshall or Barry Moore. 70% of the state wanted to run Tuberville out of Alabama in 2008 and now he’s a Senator and will be unopposed for Governor, so it’s not hatred in the sports world is not exactly translating.
Has Finebaum ever struck you as a conservative? When Tubs ran, his platform was to the right of Donald Trump and came across sincere. That's why he won, and since he's been in office he's done nothing to sway from what he campaign on. Thats why he will walk into the Governor's mansion after the next election. If he were a RINO like Cassidy in LA, no name recognition would ever get him back in any office here. Finebaum comes off like a phony. He's been in the public eye for a very long time, and comes across as untrustworthy. His whole playbook revolves around playing fanbases off of each other for ratings. I'd love to see polling on where he stands against the frontrunner Marshall.

Again, name ID goes a long way. Other candidates will have to spend millions in order to just match Finebaum’s name ID with the average voter. I’m not a fan, just saying he would be a legit contender if he jumped in the race.

I found it interesting that McCarron has never even voted before. If he was running for a random seat in the legislature it would be one thing but he’s running to basically preside over the state senate.

Former OU QB J.C. Watts went on to serve in Congress for Oklahoma for several years.

Jim Pillen used his time playing fir the Huskers when he was running for gov. I never liked him. Voted for Herbster.

Except when he played against LSU and played like a champ.
