No one here is defending Alex Jones and this was posted already.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech" Defamation lawsuits abridge the freedom of speech just like gun permits infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.
