John Nolte savages Romney over humiliating "Pierre Delecto" story

I love the way that Breitbart breaks it down in their recap this morning - it's savage.

It's just amazing. Romney in his $12,000 suit and perfectly coiffed hair and strong jaw acting like this macho hip old guy, only to suffer (yet again) a new humiliating low. He thinks he's "in" with the journalism crowd, except... he's not. Slate doesn't cover for him like they would Kerry Obama or AOC. They don't leave it to the alt-right autists to gloat in the dark corners of message boards after they've found it out. Far left Slate publishes it all for everyone to see and they do so in truly impressive fashion. They pull the rug out from under this beacon of GOP hope and reasonableness.
It just keeps happening to him

“That’s kind of what he does,” Romney said with a shrug, and then got up to retrieve an iPad from his desk. He explained that he uses a secret Twitter account—“What do they call me, a lurker?”—to keep tabs on the political conversation. “I won’t give you the name of it,” he said, but “I’m following 668 people.” Swiping at his tablet, he recited some of the accounts he follows, including journalists, late-night comedians (“What’s his name, the big redhead from Boston?”), and athletes. Trump was not among them. “He tweets so much,” Romney said, comparing the president to one of his nieces who overshares on Instagram. “I love her, but it’s like, Ah, it’s too much.

Romney is such a beta. This is like worse than a cheating scandal IMO because it just confirms to everyone that he's a huge coward and pussy.

Mitt Romney will now be able to be trolled until the end of time.
What i dont understand is why people like Romney, who are old and rich as frick, do anything at all. just retire and live your life, man.
I the same why I feel about many old politicians) what a sad, sad life they lead where attention and approval of being a politician is more important than just enjoying life with loved ones.
AT least Trump did it in reverse by jumping into politics late after living a pretty damn good life, and is doing so for specific reasons and not any financial or approval game (instead he just gets his life basically destroyed daily)

These GOPe types think that being a McCain is one of the highest honors.

The most telling moment of Romney's life is this one. Look how he literally runs to the podium on Election Night 2012. He can't wait to concede to Obama and admit that he lost. Can you imagine someone like Trump or Reagan or even Hillary joyfully bounding out to the microphone - so proud of being a magnanimous loser?

Being a politician opens the doors to business "opportunities". This is how most become wealthy in the first place. Power begets wealth. Both are very addictive

Power is a strong and highly addictive drug.

shite, they had to rouse Hillary from an alcohol-induced stupor to get her to concede the following afternoon.

Everytime I read a story like this my tin foil hat gets taller.
Where were his balls when Candy lied her arse off to stick up for Obama? Where was all that proper etiquette when he needed to push back?
Dude was uniparty all the way and was a foil to Obama, plain and simple.
