During the debate he talked something about decriminalization of cocaine. Is this because of his son? Real question here.

I think he said that nobody should be jailed for drug only crimes. Don't know if he meant use/possession or distribution too. Ironic since he supported law changes for stiffer drug sentences.

He did, but also specifically mentioned coke. It was really awkward. Trump missed a perfect opportunity but I guess its probably better he it slide.
He wants to send all non violent drug offenders to rehab. Rehab is expensive AF and has he looked into the recidivism rates? They are not good. He should probably know as his crackhead son has been a few times.

What he was talking about was that in the crime bill, crack cocaine (preferred by blacks) carried longer jail sentences than powder cocaine (preferred by wealthier white folks).
So if Tucker Carlisle IV got caught with 20 grams of blow, he’d get 10 hours of community service where as if Malik Jefferson got caught with 20 grams of crack, he’d go to jail for a year and have a felony on his record

He was pandering to black people, who haven't realized at the same percentage as whites that the coke on the market is garbage
