Let's think about this objectively.
On one side you have one group claiming /publishing articles claiming fake news with no supporting information given. There is no investigation into said claims. There's no interview of the people being accused for comment. These same folks have also been documented to be colluding with one another (WikiLeaks). The same folks also reported that Trump has no chance of winning the presidency. The same posters supporting those outlets also reminded us how Trump would not win the presidency. These folks still claim the intellectual highground while ironically cross-referencing one another.
On the other hand we have a group of people clamoring for a more detailed investigation into the matter. I am open to the idea of being wrong (the same cannot be said of the other side). Instead there is silence and now denials with no formal information provided (while tons of circumstantial evidence continues to mount). People in this group are in a much more intellectually honest position (despite the smugness being exuded by detractors). We are clamoring for more information and we are OK if we are wrong if that's where the facts lead.
