Make no mistake - they already do this in many precincts where they have complete control. They used to do this, famously, with military overseas ballots, etc. But, with mail-in being the "norm" if they're successful in these places, it will guarantee the election for Biden.
Just them knowing how many votes they're short with the "initial" count lets them manufacture as many as they need with "found" mail in ballots for days/weeks after election day. They will be "delaying" the election until they produce the result they want, even though Trump trolling about moving the election date is somehow an assault on the Constitution and voting rights.

I'm thinking months, easily. How many separate locations in how many separate states will devolve into legal or constitutional challenges with litigation? It's hard to wrap one's mind around. Like Florida 2000 times 100. All those challenges, all that litigation working its way through the various levels of the judicial system, all due to a sudden shock to the system that our country as a whole, i.e. every state, is not even close to being prepared for. Hell even if it's only 7 or 8 states bogged down with severe issues.
