Well, if we can send $40 Billion dollars to some tiny state in Europe, what is $5.8 Billion more for Americans whether not deserved or not deserved?

This is what I find disgraceful. They had been sued multiple times and forced to pay 30 million fines well before the chapter 11 was filed and they went tits up. But during that time they still gave loans to students knowing their degree wasn’t going to be worth shite.
Our government fricks everything up.

The debt isn't canceled. Still has to be paid back. No doubt it was a scammy, but the individuals that took out loans made a very poor decision but no one forced them to do it.
So who do we bail out next? Why not all the ones who took out 300k+ for a worthless degree?
I got a loan for a $60k truck at 21. I knew it wasn’t a great decision but did it anyway. I don’t wanna pay the loan now, you need to pay it. Thanks.
