All press will be funneled through the President and senior cabinet members (Vance, Rubio, Bessent, etc.,). The President won't answer any questions he doesn't want to. The others will only answer questions within their expertise.

Without a press secretary, there won't be someone to answer the ordinary, pesky questions that an Administration would otherwise have to answer.
