Well, if the Populous is stupid enough to vote for the above...there is no POTUS that will affect civil stability to a significant degree anyway. Can't cure stupid...and the consequences can be mitigated for only so long. Mother Nature rules, when Man's wisdom fails.

Sure, but Trump also racked up big margins elsewhere, especially in the South. Plus, the point of the OP is that Trump is a "sure thing," and the fact that he didn't win the popular vote--and narrowly won some key states--strongly suggest that his best case scenario is securing a relatively narrow reelection.

Trump is really going to have to work to get re-elected. The machine is going to go in dry. And he really has to get moderates on both sides to swing his way. And he's going to have to get more of the black vote this time around. It's going to probably be more difficult for him to get re-elected than any two term president in history
