I'm not the biggest Trump fan, but I must admit he's making the presidency almost look easy. He's fulfilling his campaign promises as fast as he can, but now the left has found activist judges to slow his blockade of travel from terrorist heavy countries. He will come back with a way around this and then move on to Obamacare and the wall. I assume the left will continue to obstruct common sense policy for political appeasement of their base, but mainstream americans will get fed up with the nonsense opposition, and the democrats will continue to lose power until they are just an afterthought in American history. I'm sure some adapted version of their socialist platform will crop up and reignite the fires of the weak-minded useful idiots and the aristocratic establishment.

And to the OP, If you can't understand yet why Trump makes outlandish statements to push his agenda, you should look in the mirror and ask yourself how the Democrats got into power for the past 8 years. The left makes outlandish and false statements ("Romney hasn't paid taxes in years") regarding conservatives and are backed by the media despite it being fake news, and after public opinion has been swayed, they will give a back page apology or Friday night apology about the falsity. Trump is KILLING the democrats and the media with their own strategy. It worked in the primaries with Cruz and Rubio, worked in the general with Hillary, and now he's directing the media like a puppet master.
