Lived there a long while. Like most people in the Republic, reunification is a dubious prospect-- even if there were a majority for it-- no certain thing within the Republic-- its a massively expensive prospect, and TBH, the North went from being the prosperous part of the island, to a liability.

If you gave the Irish truth serum, they'd probably take it back, but spend fifty years complaining about the state it would be left in.
