Five years ago I would have said traitor with no hesitation. Today I'm not sure where I stand. I'm at the point of where he did the wrong thing for the right reasons. I'm not sure what that makes him. I have done a complete 180 on Julian Assange though. No doubt in my mind that he is on our side if you consider "our" side to be the people's side vs government of all forms and not our side as in Americans vs the rest of the world terms.

Snowden is a Patriot.
Anyone who does not recognize this is a fool.

If he hadn't run you would've never known his name. He would've been vanished and prevented from ever telling his side of the story. Instead the intelligence world would've made him out to be some crazy pedo (or worse) and totally discredited him before his story ever made it to print. That's what they do. They still tried but because he was able to counter it they faile

Ridiculous. With the media and internet today he could have easily shared his story and not "disappeared".

There are many elected leaders in this country who are far more dangerous and disgusting than Snowden.

Snowden could have exposed the program without betraying the country.

He didn’t betray the country. He betrayed the government that’s betraying the country.

Ok? And?

That would explain the need for the NDA. I thought that was obvious. Apparently not.

Maybe he chose Russia because that’s one of the few places where he wouldn’t end up dead.
