Kind of suggests that if they actually had a plan that involved a real experienced shooter as opposed to a 20 year old nutjob, it would have worked, doesn't it?

Look, I don't want ANYONE to suggest I want Trump assassinated. I don't. But the reality is if an organized group wanted to assassinate someone, they wouldn't tap a 20 year old wacko for the job. When people like that try to kill someone, they aren't assassins backed by an organization. They're lone wolves.

Doesn't mean they can't succeed. Timothy McVeigh succeeded in the Oklahoma City bombing. But he was in fact a nutjob (not quite solo as he had a partner, but near enough).

Same goes for Lee Harvey Oswald. Or John Hinkley. Or John Wilkes Booth. Or Leon Czolgosz (the guy who assassinated McKinley)
