Where are you. You're running away again? Like you did with the 14th amendment.

Now do COVID Antifa protests and church.

But, if Rage Against The Machine decided they were going to do a free concert in your neighborhood, you could have very legitimate concerns about a free pop up event of that size. Like it or not, there are zoning laws in all municipalities that protect the neighborhoods and citizens from having Rage Against the Machine, from having an anarchy antifa concert in your backyard, and conversely, from having an enormous Christian rock show on your block. The rules don’t change because one is singing about Jesus.
Only as it applies to a private residence or other business or someone’s backyard are you correct.
I can’t speak to Canada’s laws (who knows why those liberal, freak-show morons do what they do), but in the United States, we have this amazing thing known as the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. You’ve probably heard of it.
To put it simple terms for you, because of the 1st Amendment, a church does not need government permission (a permit) nor do they need to ask, beg, inquire, petition, or plead with the government to worship or hold worship services.
Now, the question might be reasonably asked, “What is a worship service?” The answer, legally, would be an event that includes one or more activities that are common in the liturgy of the churches.
So, what activities comprise common liturgy in local churches? Prayer? Surely. Singing songs? Certainly. Music played by instruments? Almost always. Teaching and/or preaching? Yes.
If a local church holds an event that includes prayer, music, and/or singing, that’s a worship service— unquestionably so.
Does it matter which person leads the prayer or sings the songs? Not even a little bit.

This wasn’t some run of the mill, “worship service.” This guy has a full band, he sold out multiple arenas and stadiums this year.
Many churches have full bands. And PA systems. And lighting systems. And almost every other component you might find in a secular venue.

I say it all the time. Our ultimate fight isn't Left vs. Right or even Democrat vs. Republican.
It's Good vs. Evil.
The left vs right or Dem vs Republican fights are for when the stakes are low, and they usually only amount to bickering back and forth. The stakes are getting higher right now, that's why you see black people getting fed up with the state of things. We've jumped the shark and it is going to come to a fork in the road, everybody has to choose on their own if they're gonna go high or low.
