Love these "gas prices" threads.
Gas high under Pres I do not like?
He is trying to ruin us!
Gas high under Pres I do like?
Get over it, you can afford it.
Meanwhile, for cost of exploration, extraction, transmission and refining, gasoline is still one of the best deals going. Coffee costs you more.

It’s my fault, but gas prices was just an easy example to use to make the point that it seems everyone missed.
We are all ultimately powerless in all of the political machinations that drive this board, yet they occupy so much of our time and energy. No one here really knows what’s going on, what drives each individual decision, or the ultimate goals. We sit under a deluge of information that fluctuates constantly and always has enough nuance to cause us to question meaning and purpose.
My point was that I’m gonna be the guy who says “hmmmph” and goes about my business without letting it dominate my life.

The difference is this is permanent policy dems want to enact.
Your prices at the pump won't stay this high.
The bigger problem rt now would be how long diesel stays high.
So you're ok with policies that cause prices to increase as long as it's under a certain period of time?
