I remember back in the late 60's and early 70's, when the MSM turned against the Viet Nam War. In order to push the end to the fighting the embedded reporters would show their days film on the national evening news.

Our soldiers, at that time drafted into the mess, lying face down in the mud, limbs missing, screaming in pain while still under attack. The flag draped coffins coming off the conveyor belts of the transport planes stacked full of our American sons who gave their all. The Viet Cong running, screaming, out of their tunnels on fire from the flamethrowers still targeting them as they scrambled out of the tunnels. They showed the MASH units with all the wounded, dead, dying up close.

So yeah, show the mutilated corpses of these terrorists and nutcases in all their "glory" after they get stopped. Those scenes helped stop a war and they can at least stop one or 2 nutcases from seeking some kind of "everlasting kid picture glory" too. War IS hell and dying ain't pretty, show the truth and maybe there'll be less of both.
