If you need a sanity check, CNN headline: Comparing Trump rallies to a wrestling match

CNN deserves shite, but I think this headline is rational. I’ve used this analogy to specifically call out Jim Acosta. While he’s said that he’s feared for his life, he knows better than that. You can find dozens of photos online with him taking pictures with Trumpers at Trump’s rallies. This is not condescending in the slightest, but Trumpers are very comparable to WWE fans, Acosta knows this, and embraced being one of the villain wrestlers against Trump. They’re just there to have a good time and it’s why Acosta truthfully doesn’t fear Trump supporters. He loves the attention they give him.

Not exactly wrong but of course the spineless democrats would wait till now to point this out.

Meh. And Obama rallies were like tent revivals, complete with hands raised, crying, fainting and adoration for their messianic prophet.

I've never participated in a political rally. Just not my speed. Also never been to a tent revival or a rasslin match...for lots of the same reasons.

I've only been even tempted to attend such a rally by Trump = and may well have done it this past year except for health.

Though popular with its fans, I can't imagine the wrasslin' vibe plays well with a large group of citizens.
