Seems like a pretty big contradiction in arguments.

They do work and it is precisely why the wall is being opposed. The bitching about the cost is entertaining. various federal agencies have actually lost more money than the total cost of the wall.

If walls don’t work, then taxing citizens to build a wall is immoral on its face.
Just about everything is immoral, though. The powerful pick and choose what immorality is to be justified so that they remain in power.

They only became "Immoral" when President Trump was for them.
Evidently,walls weren't "Immoral" in 2012 when Shuemer voted for them.(I may be off on the year)

Put those walls up and it makes it harder for the Dems to accomplish their immigration replacement of the people in America they don't like (conservative whites). Dems prefer to not enforce the laws at the border so the hordes of immigrants can come in and be the votes they need to stay in power.
If that wall goes, up, the immigrant hordes get stopped at the border if they don't find a way to scale the wall.
The wall needs to be built before Trump leaves office. This will prevent the Dems from passing legislation to stop the construction of the wall and they won't have the luxury of "looking the other way" when their future voting base treks across desert to partake in US Welfare programs.

A thing can be “immoral,” even if it is not 100% successful in attaining its desired ends.
As just one example, the Nazi Holocaust was NOT successful in killing 100% of the world’s Jewry or even 100% of European Jewry. It was nonetheless immoral.

If we took the money we spend on these criminal invaders (welfare, lost taxes, healthcare, schooling, crime, etc) we could build a 75' wall from the Gulf to Mexico, with a fricking road on the top.
Hundreds of billions every year go to these worthless bastards. If we are going to waste billions I would rather waste it on our citizens.
I hope one day we get a federal ID (Everify) that must be used to purchase anything. Make these rats hide in the shadows.

Social welfare programs do not accomplish their stated goals of moving persons from poverty. Immoral on their face.
