How do you explain the senate having to listen to Nancy Pelosi speak for the last 3 hours? Dont know if she is fillibustering or having qn episode, but I guess she's up there going on and on. I'd kill myself right there on the house floor.

When did Pelosi get elected to the Senate? How can a Rep filibuster the Senate?

Banned by the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution:
quote:

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

In this case, a fillibuster is not all that unusual.
