If a nuke hit Shreveport, it'd do, what? $500 in damage?

Bossier was a top 5 Russian target throughout the cold war

You can check different scenarios here:

It lets you select the hypocenter, detonation altitude, and size of the bomb.

Shreveport's on the list bc of Barksdale....otherwise, the Cripp's would be cripled...which is ironic.

You'll have a few hours. Go south towards the River Bend PP and make sure to have some beer for the road.

You need to be more concerned with Grand Gulf than someone wasting a nuke on Shreveport.

Actually, Barksdale remains a top 5 target. Most of our long range bombers (B52's) originate there....

You should be fine if the wind is on your side but if lets say they used the largest bomb every tested, the "tsar Bomba", 3rd degree burns are 100% as far as gibsland but Radiation would spread hundreds of miles depending on the Wind.

Oh and the depth of the crater would be 1000 feet deep

This thread made me want to take a look at what assets are stationed at Barksdale, and then I stumbled upon the Bent Spear incident that happened in 2007, holy frick.
