Hey, they're not all great. But it's better than a DeVos, Perry, Sessions, Pruitt, Bannon administration. DeVos being the single worst of the lot.

Maybe Joe can teach her how to balance a checkbook.

Then again, maybe not.

So what makes them better or worse than the other group?

Things I like:

Help with college costs, even though I got through both my degrees without a single cent of debt. I NEVER agreed with 100% free college and full college debt forgiveness in Bernie's plan. Joe supports debt-free community college and doubling of Pell grants, and reduced interest on debt repayment. This jives a lot better for me. Society has progressed enough that a two-year community college degree is basically High School+ and would take the strain off everyone thinking they need to waste their time at a 4-year university; plus community colleges provide a lot of opportunities for more applied careers which we are short of. I would not have finished college without LSU scholarships and Pell grant, as my family was not wealthy, so I absolutely support more Pell funding.

A better stance on healthcare; public option universal healthcare on top of standard Medicare (not as good as Bernie's plan, but oh well). Actual human perspective on healthcare. Decriminalized marijuana (I have no interest in the stuff but it's bonkers that it's illegal still). Going to balance the budget again just like every Democrat President does just to have it toppled again by the next R. Increase taxes on the rich, fund social security better.

"Increase taxes on corporations to pay for a tax credit to cap all rent at 30% of income and a $15,000 tax credit for the purchase of a first home" This is a great policy. I pay 13% of my income in rent and that's bad enough. 30% seems reasonable to keep people being stuck in a cycle.

Friendlier to clean energy. Universal Pre K. A much friendlier attitude towards science and science funding. Reinstating DACA. Overturning Citizens United. Rules for family leave to catch up to other civilized European countries.

Things I don't agree with:

$15 minimum wage. Minimum wage should increase since it's been so long, but not this much.

Path to citizenship for illegals. They are breaking the law and don't need to be rewarded for skipping the line over people who came in legally.

I strongly dislike banning the sale of assault weapons, although I do like the background checks.

It's like Barack never was elected.

So now you get to control my rental house?

Good

Some of them are literally the worst possible candidates for the positions. Several explicitly want to dismantle or destroy the departments they're in charge of, or have ulterior motives to destroy or cripple those departments.

And Bannon. I mean come on.

Examples would be great? And by dismantle do you mean reduce the overreaching power that these departments in the past forcefully put on the American people?

You are thinking of DeBlasio when you say the worst possible candidate I assume?

Newt says you're welcome. Please tell me you're smart enough to know Bill Clinton had little to nothing to do with this except following Newt's lead.
