We need to win the war of ideas, words, and respect. Until conservatives are ready to do work, to risk, and fight for the things they believe in they will get nowhere. And I mean real work. Academia, govt, arts, entertainment, education, technology, corporate and media brass...where are the conservatives in all of those fields? Often thankless, unrewarding, difficult, lifelong chores to become esteemed in those areas. That's real work, and those are the real levers of power. Few conservatives to be seen doing it. Waking up hungover and taking a hammer to work for 8 hours isnt real work or sacrifice. You can't win with guns alone, in fact guns are the tool of those who lost the war of ideas. Liberals have become so repugnant in every way, that conservatives have the rare opportunity to reverse the 3 decade long cultural pendulum swing left. Liberals are against humor, sex, freedom, honesty, wealth, family, fairness, mental stability, reason, peace, judging people by the content of their character, and fun....everything that makes life great. This should be pointed out at every opportunity and mocked. If we fall it will not be because of a failure of calling to arms, but a failure of calling to mind

Another problem facing conservative people is what they have to lose.

A tatted up barista with 3 arrests for possession and a dui doesn’t really have to concern themselves with a job performance review or a background check. Losing a $12-15 hour job is inconsequential to them. A middle class “earner” trying to make partner or get promoted in their company can’t tote around a felony arrest and hope to advance.

I would blame Republicans for allowing it to happen. For at least 20 years they have sat on their hands and done nothing to help build conservatism. Its difficult to see this nation as it was in the 1980s compared to what it has sunk to in the 2000s. The road to decline was begun by Bush 41. Trump was the last hope.
