I have worked with a fair amount of Venezuelan's and heard similar stories. It appears many just took off to almost any other country that would allow them in to work or seek asylum. Not to be too dramatic but it hurt me to watch a bunch of young women cry when that a-hole maniac Maduro pulled this stunt.
