dude has learned from 2016 and kept his conservative values meanwhile comes off as politically saavy. Instead of being upset about Trump getting the nomination like Lil Marco and John Kasich he embraced the Trump administration! Hope to see Lion Ted in 2024.. hispanic votes would be over 50%

He's smart he's knows being runner up to TRUMP and then being with TRUMP throughout his presidency sets him up really well for the future.

Cruz is the very epitome of magnanimity. In other words, he is the perfect example of generosity of spirit. He took his lumps from Trump but he isn't a chump. He learned from experience and is all the better for it. I hope he runs for president in 2024. He was my choice in the Republican primaries in 2016 but I'm glad things turned out the way they did. He will be a much stronger candidate in 2024, if he so chooses to be, because of the crucible he went through in 2016 going againgst The Glorious Orange One!

Left the Austin bubble, realized how important gun rights are with 2020 riots (I have been held up at gunpoint twice in my life and emotionally dislike guns, I have a very hard time with them) I have seen the Democrats lie so much and Beto flip flop on the social progress things that he promised that I switched camps. I voted against Cruz initially mostly because I felt like I couldn’t trust him, I REALLY don’t feel like I can trust any Democrats now. So yeah, there’s my reasoning.
