Remember the scene in Apollo 13 when the ground team was working day and night to find out how much juice to various systems they can get from the batteries while staying under 12 amps?

He probably has the top conservative constitutional lawyers in the country working around the clock looking at various sections of the Constitution, namely Article II, and examining the various case law and journal articles written to see the full extent of power the office has to pull this country out of the self-imposed economic hole we are in.

We are going to need him to tap into every bit of power he has to save our country because Congress is a dead end.

It’s simpler than that.

Just provide some guidelines as to ICU/hospital bed availability versus confirmed infection rates. Give the mayors and governors cover. And they’ll be forced (by the same peer pressure that started shutting us down) to open back up.

Wait you mean he is not researching it himself? That's what the MSM will say.

It will make great political ads going forward all of the Leftists Screaming "States Rights"!.

What did he say in his acceptance speech? "I will take the slings and arrows for the American People".

I believe he is trying to save our Republic, as he campaigned on, by showing the hypocrisy of the Left.
Because we are seeing a lot of leftist hypocrisy at the moment.

The market will fix itself once the national emergency is lifted

All this discussion on it is a waste of time until then. The people will punish those who don't open.

And they'd be dumb not to take it because they can just blame Trump if he's wrong. I'm sure a lot of them will do the opposite.

One of the most poetic and enduring images of both the film and the real life emergency is that they literally had to fit a round peg in a square hole. (TWSS)

(ETA: The explosion was 50 years ago yesterday, BTW.)
