I hate how the media report these shootings...

The way the MSM outlets report and sensationalize these mass shootings is terrible. Listening to these reports the last day and the way they are being talked about is unbelievable. The so called "experts" have speculated that the cause of these shootings range from WWII to video games. I've also heard 9/11, Ritalin and other prescribed drugs, social media, DACA, bullying and so on. Still waiting on Santa and Bigfoot to be mentioned. One cause not mentioned may be the media itself.

When a mass shooting like this happens, one of the first things mentioned is the death toll of other similar occurrences. They dredge up death tolls and seem to sensationalize the statistics. It's almost like they are posting a ranking of mass killings saying. ...can the next shooter do better?

Maybe they should tone it down a notch or two and not try and make this a competition for the next nut out there watching.
