Scare tactics from Kenneth Boudreaux (term limited black councilman) Telling the people that it's ok not to vote for the black candidate.

From his FB page:

Even though the republicans have done NOTHING to score favor for our community they may win due to this error. We cannot afford to take that chance. Although it may be a good feeling, voting along racial and party lines will not always produce best results. This is not the time and this is not the election. Not voting for Carlee #90 will allow the defunding of our library, suppression of economic development, the loss of jobs and fare working wages and a descent quality of life within our community.

During my Council terms I committed my life to achieving these things. I have been attacked, investigated, wrongfully accused and lied on. I survived, but it will be for nothing if we allow the turning back of time with the wrong vote. Please go vote, join with me and vote Carlee #90 so we can continue our progress. The Vice President, The Presidents son and president Trump himself has come to defeat us. Goliath is here, can we be an entire community of David’s? We can always welcome those back who have strayed and wondered off due to ill advised decisions, pursuit of selfish gain and influence of money, but not electing Carlee will haunt us for at least 6 years. Vote Carlee #90

Sad he actually has to put messages out about not voting solely along racial lines.

But then he says “vote carlee”.

So he says don’t vote for the African American in the race, vote for the liberal democrat.

Speaking from both sides of his mouth.

Your opinion of the candidates is uninformed.

My whole family is from that area. His assesment of Carlee is spot on.

Her appeal and support is completely inexplicable to me.

I voted for Abraham and Simone Champagne.

A lot of Carlee’s campaign people are liberal hipsters from the Saint Streets. That alone threw up a red flag for me.

Yep. I live near the Saints Streets and almost every yard with a Carlee sign also has Gleason and Edwards signs. Gleason is a full on leftist Warren supporter.
