By telling anybody who brings it up that it led to:
Homeland Security
Patriot Act
Torture
Surveillance State
TSA
Untold amount of deaths of Iraqis

The best way to fight people who want to take away your freedom is to give up your freedoms and then bankrupt your fellow citizens while importing millions of people who have no interest in assimilating to your culture.

And if you don't believe that, you are a terrorist sympathizer.

I was in the 5th grade. Someone told our teacher the news and she checked it out on the TV and left the room, leaving us to digest the information the best we could at the time.

I’m currently sick, but just watched the new National Geographic documentary on YouTube that had a ton of footage and stories I had not previously seen or heard.

Remembering 9/11: 25 Years Later

I was at work in downtown Houston when it happened. I couldn’t load the internet so I went down to watch TV in the lobby of Frost Bank. There were 20 of us standing around the TV. I started to notice the first building buckling and I said out loud “oh no it’s going to fall!” And I was shushed/shamed for saying such a thing by the strangers around me. Then it fell.
